Estimate the contribution from one Etsy order using the costs that matter to your shop. This calculator starts with U.S. bank-account and USD assumptions, exposes each fee, and lets you edit rates. It does not require a shop connection or collect your order information.

How to use this calculator

Enter the item price, quantity, shipping charged, gift wrapping, and buyer sales tax. Add your own product and delivery costs. Choose whether this is an attributed Offsite Ads order and the rate applicable to your shop. Use other costs for additional per-order allocations.

Formula and assumptions

Seller revenue = item price × quantity + buyer shipping + gift wrapping. Transaction fee uses seller revenue. Payment processing uses seller revenue plus buyer sales tax. Contribution = seller revenue − Etsy fees − product costs − shipping − other entered costs.

Worked example

For one $30 item with $5 buyer shipping, $2.80 buyer tax, $10 product cost, and $6 actual shipping, the default fees total $3.86 after per-fee rounding. With no Offsite Ads attribution or other costs, estimated contribution is $15.14. Buyer tax is not counted as your revenue.
